His expertise, strategic vision, and in-depth knowledge of the maritime industry will contribute to the continued growth of our organization and the fulfillment of our mission: to provide safe, efficient pilotage services that meet the highest standards of professionalism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Captain \u00c9ric Sauv\u00e9, President, Corporation of Central St. Lawrence Pilots<\/p>\n<p>As he assumes his new role, Mr. Maltais will oversee the Corporation\u2019s operations and continue the work accomplished in recent years to address the current and future challenges of maritime pilotage on the St. Lawrence River. He will work closely with the pilots, employees, the Laurentian Pilotage Authority, port authorities, and all industry partners.<\/p>\n<p>The Corporation also wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Jean-Denis Girard for his commitment and dedication as Executive Director. During his tenure, he made significant contributions to the organization\u2019s development and to the advancement of numerous strategic initiatives.
